The SPAX WIROX T30 T-STR Warm Roof Insulation Screw 6 × 240mm is a specialist construction screw developed specifically for fixing warm roof and on-roof insulation systems. Its under-head fixing thread secures the counter-batten and helps prevent the screw head pulling through when compressible insulation is loaded during installation.
Manufactured in Germany from German-made steel, the screw combines a flat countersunk head, T30 T-STAR plus drive and 4CUT point with a corrosion-resistant WIROX surface. It is suitable for fixing counter-battens through insulation into timber rafters, subject to the required embedment depth, fixing angle and project-specific roof design.
The SPAX T-STR is a long construction screw designed specifically for warm roof and on-roof insulation applications. It passes through the counter-batten and insulation layer before anchoring into the supporting timber rafter.

Installation: Drive using a correctly fitting T30 T-STAR plus bit, keeping the fixing at the angle specified by the roof design.
