Optimaxx Extreme Performance Wood Screws are designed for fast, reliable fixing into timber, sheet materials and other wood-based products. Suitable for general carpentry, joinery, cabinet making, shopfitting and internal timber construction.
A Type 17 slash point provides an immediate start and removes waste as the screw is driven, reducing the need for pre-drilling in many applications. The deep, coarse thread provides secure fixing and high pull-out resistance, while the sawtooth formation helps reduce driving torque.
Twenty-four cutting grooves beneath the head provide a clean, flush countersunk finish. A reinforced collar adds strength beneath the head, helping to reduce the risk of snapping during installation.
Manufactured from hardened steel with a zinc-plated and yellow-passivated finish, the screws also feature a low-friction coating for smoother driving. Available in a range of Pozi and Torx drive sizes for internal applications.
