Cone head drive nails are a multi-purpose nail, most commonly used to fix metal sheeting to timber substrates. They are also effective when hammering into end grain timber due to the helical shank, but we recommend a small pilot drill first to reduce the risk of the timber splitting. If you wish to use these in conjunction with dowty washers to fix corrugated sheets, we recommend M8 dowty washers (see related products below). Dowty washers are designed for M6 or M8 hook bolts so the sizing does not match exactly - the M8 will be slightly lose, whereas the M6 will be a very tight fit and you may have some difficulties.
