Washer hexagon head self-drilling tek screws are a medium duty metal to metal tek screw, ideal for applications that require high insertion torque due to the hexagon drive. The hexagon head drive provides less slippage when installing which makes them very user friendly. These tek screws are made from A2 (304) stainless steel which offers excellent protection against rust, but it is much softer than normal carbon steel. As such, they are only recommended for use in aluminium, but if using in other metals such as steel, you can use with the use of a small pilot drill.
