The A2 Stainless PZ2 Pozi Countersunk Chipboard Screw 5.0 x 25mm is designed for secure fixing into chipboard, MDF and other engineered wood materials. Manufactured from A2 stainless steel, it offers corrosion resistance and a neat, flush finish.
Featuring a PZ2 Pozidriv drive and fully threaded shank, this screw is suitable for furniture assembly, cabinetry and general light carpentry work.
A chipboard screw is designed to provide a secure fixing in engineered wood materials such as chipboard and MDF. Its countersunk head is designed to sit flush with the surface when installed correctly.

Are pilot holes required?
Not always in chipboard or MDF. Pre-drilling may be helpful near board edges or where splitting is a concern.
Can A2 stainless steel screws be used outdoors?
They are suitable for many general outdoor environments. A4 stainless steel may be preferable in coastal or highly corrosive conditions.
