Countersunk self-drilling tek screws are a light duty timber to metal tek screw. Stainless steel offers excellent protection against rust, but it is much softer than normal carbon steel tek screws. As such, they are only recommended for use in aluminium, but if using in other metals such as steel, you can use with the use of a small pilot drill.
