Countersunk self-drilling tek screws are a light duty timber to metal tek screw. These tek screws are made from A4 (316) marine grade stainless steel which offers excellent protection against rust, but it is much softer than normal carbon steel. As such, they are only recommended for use in aluminium, but if using in other metals such as steel, you can use with the use of a small pilot drill.
