Eurotec Terrassotec Trilobular screws are a premium quality decking, cladding and façade screw. They are made from A4 grade stainless steel, for use in corrosive environments such as coastal areas, and woods containing tanning agents i.e. oak, cumaru, merbau, robinia, etc. These screws are ideal for decking, cladding, façades, or any other timber to timber applications. They have a reduced diameter two-step head with under-toothing, which reduces splintering and the risk of the timber splitting. The dual thread design ensures the top timber is held securely in place and helps to prevent movement & warping. The Trilobular geometry reduces screwing torque. The torx drive provides optimum performance and anti-cam.
PLEASE NOTE: A4 stainless has excellent corrosion resistance but it is much softer than carbon steel. A pilot drill is essential for use in hard woods such as oak, and we would recommend using one in all materials as best practice.
