Extra-long series HSS-G drill bits. These extra length drill bits are even longer than standard long series drills, making them ideal for drilling long holes, or where you cannot get full access to the material you need to drill. Suitable for drilling steel, high tensile steel up to 900N/mm2, cast steel, cast iron, metals and hard plastics. We would recommend always using a cutting & tapping fluid or lubricant well drilling metal. These drills are also very popular for using as pilot drills for fixing timber sleepers. The extra-long length means you can pilot drill long holes with all timber in-situ instead of having to drill one level at a time.
