Zinc plated mild steel threaded inserts, ideal for furniture manufacturing & assembly. These inserts have a recessed hexagon drive for easy installation and removal and will accept any M8 metric coarse threaded fastener. A pilot drill is essential - we recommend a 9.0mm/9.5mm drill for softer timbers, and a 10mm drill for harder timbers. These inserts have a rim to ensure correct installation depth.
