The 3.4 × 35mm Electro-Galvanised Collated Twist Shank Nails are 34° paper-collated nails designed for use with compatible gas or pneumatic nailers. Their twist shank provides increased holding power and pull-out resistance compared with a smooth shank nail.
Manufactured from carbon steel with an electro-galvanised finish, these full round head nails are suitable for Service Class 2 applications. The short 35mm length makes them particularly suited to fixing compatible timber connectors and builders’ metalwork where this nail specification is required.
These collated nails are arranged in 34° paper strips for rapid installation using a compatible nail gun. Their full round head provides a broad bearing surface, while the twist shank improves resistance to withdrawal from the timber.

Compatibility note: Confirm that the nail diameter, length, head type, 34° collation angle and paper collation are compatible with the nail gun. Where the nails are used with structural timber connectors, follow the connector manufacturer’s fixing schedule and use only the specified nail type, size and quantity.
Exposure note: The electro-galvanised finish is intended for suitable Service Class 2 conditions. These nails should not be used in permanently exposed, highly corrosive or otherwise unsuitable environments unless specifically approved for the application.
Technical note: Always refer to the latest nail-gun instructions, timber-connector documentation and project specification before installation. The nail size and quantity required for a structural connector must not be substituted without approval.

Installation: Load the nails only into a compatible 34° paper-strip nailer that accepts 3.4 × 35mm full round head nails. Follow the tool manufacturer’s loading, pressure and safety instructions. Keep hands clear of the firing area and ensure the nail is positioned correctly before firing. When fixing builders’ metalwork, drive the nail through the designated fixing hole and install the complete fixing pattern specified by the connector manufacturer. Do not use damaged strips or loose nails in the tool.
