The Simpson PWT party wall tie is the first connector designed specifically to connect the party walls of timber framed buildings. They are made using a thin material to ensure optimum acoustic properties. The PWT party wall tie has cavity widths of 50mm 62mm and 75mm stamped onto the surface, to ensure consistent cavity size throughout the building.
PLEASE NOTE: In order to minimise the risk of sound transfer, it is recommended that the PWT200 is installed at 1200mm centres, unless otherwise specified by the building designer or engineer.
