Solo coach screws are a heavy-duty versatile timber fixing with a hex flange head. Solo coach screws are the modern replacement for traditional DIN 571 coach screws. The main benefit of using the solo coach screw over traditional coach screws is the type 17 slash point. It means they are much less likely to split timber during installation, and they can be used without pilot drills in soft wood. The solo coach screw is 3 times faster to install than standard coach screws and is optimised for use with modern impact drivers. Suitable for softwood, hardwood, man-made board or masonry with the use of a nylon plug.
