Vortex Power wood screws from Unifix, are an excellent premium wood screw suitable for a wide range of materials including hardwood, MDF, decking, plastic and even thin sheet metal. The Vortex range comes in both Torx & Pozi drive, although Torx drive is our standard stocked range due to superior anti-cam properties. The Vortex wood screw is an advanced wood screw with a number of features including countersinking ribs under the head, a slash point for easy pick up, and serrated threads to get through the hardest materials.
