Decking screws are designed used for attaching decking boards to a timber substrate, but due to their excellent corrosion resistant properties they are also widely used in a broad range of exterior applications. We stock a wide range of decking and cladding screws including torx drive decking screws for high torque and reduce cam-out, and cylindrical or 'trim head' decking screws which have a special reduced diameter head designed to fit into the recesses of grooved decking and provide a concealed finish.
We keep decking screws in coated carbon steel, or stainless steel for the ultimate anti-corrosion performance. If you are using oak decking or cladding, we recommend always using stainless steel decking screws.
