A4 stainless steel raised head terrace screws with cutting point, milling ribs and reduced diameter head with countersinking ribs. The cutting point gives fast pick-up and easy drive. The milling ribs effectively work to drill a clearance hole for the shank which significantly reduces insertion torque. The countersinking ribs under the head help to give a clean, flush finish.
PLEASE NOTE: A4 stainless has excellent corrosion resistance but it is much softer than carbon steel. A pilot drill is essential for use in hard woods such as oak, and we would recommend using one in all materials as best practice.
